allkpop: How has your 2025 been going so far?
Tell us what it’s like starting the year with “Gimme Love.”
I was very happy to make another great memory with POWER on that special day.
YORCH: It is the clips of my dog.
Whenever I feel tired, I often watch videos of my dog and it improves my mood.
It seems like it makes me forget about my struggles.
HONG: For me, it’s our members.
I never get down whenever I am with them as they make me laugh.
I enjoy every moment with them.
They give me strength.
DONGYEON: For me, I have a go at look for an improvement in myself.
Even the small ones help me to keep going and expect a better tomorrow.
JUNGBIN: For me, it’s quite similar to what DONGYEON just said.
But I think of them as a result.
Seeing the results of my effort and improvement motivates me to do more.
HYUNBIN: I gain my strength from watching movies or TV shows.
allkpop: YORCH and JUNGBIN participated in creating the track.
Could you walk us through the process of writing and making the melodies for “Gimme Love”?
I then came up with the concept and lyrics.
I wanted to give a sense of a vow when confessing love in the chorus.
As if you were giving a vow during a wedding, similar to “I do.”
allkpop: Share with us some memorable behind-the-scenes stories from filming the music video.
HYUNBIN: I remember filming a scene under the Brooklyn Bridge with YORCH.
While we were filming, we saw kids dancing to the music.
I remember them being so cute that we even gave them balloons we had.
JUNGBIN: It’s a fun fact.
I never rode a merry-go-round.
And I finally got to ride it as we were filming the music video.
It was very fun.
allkpop: This year marks your groups second anniversary.
For the past two years, what do you think has been the biggest change you see in yourself?
HONG: I think I have become a person with quick judgment at work.
And venture to find the answer.
It helped me to become more honest with myself.
allkpop: What are some of your dream collaborations?
YORCH: I’d like to collaborate withJustin BieberandTyler, the Creator.They are my idols.
They are the biggest influence on me right now.
They are my role models.
So, I’d love to collaborate with them.
I also have a K-pop artist that I want to collaborate with.
I’d like to collaborate with Jungkook.
HYUNBIN: As YORCH just mentioned, I’d also like to collaborate with Justin Bieber.
I have been listening to the Justice album lately.
That’s how much I love him as an artist, so I’d love to collaborate with him.
For K-pop artists, I’d like to collaborate withG-DRAGONandTAEYANG.
JUNGBIN: I want to do a collaboration withIU.
When I was in school, her music was a great source of comfort and encouragement to me.
I want to become an artist just like her and do a collaboration with her.
DONGYEON: I watched a movie called “A Beautiful Life” with my members.
I enjoyed watching that movie so much that I wanted to collaborate with Christopher.
As for a K-pop artist,BTSwas the reason that I have become a singer.
So, I’d love to work withJungkookandRM.
HONG: For me, I’d like to collaborate withSZA.
And for K-Pop artists, I’d like to collaborate withj-hopefrom BTS.
