Former president Moon Jae In confessed he was shocked upon hearing about the martial law declaration on December 3.

But when I turned on the TV and saw the official broadcast, I realized it was real.
He labeled the opposition as an anti-state force and vowed to eradicate them in one sweep.
Hearing that, I thought, ‘The president is seriously delusional.’
Internationally, it was a massive embarrassment.
As a former president, I wondered what I should do.
“Moon Jae In also spoke his candid opinion on Yoon Suk Yeol’s rise to the presidency.
When asked, “Some argue that you bear responsibility for this outcome.
How do you respond to this?”
former President Moon replied in all honesty saying, “Thats not the main issue.
The real problem is that Yoons administration has been utterly incompetentembarrassingly so.
However, what really fueled Yoons political rise was the mismanaged disciplinary process against him.
That ultimately propelled him to become the presidential candidate for the People Power Party.”
During the campaign, Yoon had already revealed himself to be completely unqualified for the presidency.
We cannot absolve ourselves, and we owe the people an apology.”
