Former T-ara member Ahreum has filed an appeal against her suspended sentence for charges of child abuse and defamation.
She was also ordered to attend 40 hours of child abuse prevention education.
Ahreum alleged that her ex-husband had committed acts of child abuse against their children during their marriage.
She was sentenced to 8 months in prison with a 2-year suspension.
Her mother also received a 4-month prison sentence, suspended for 1 year, for related charges.
Ahreum debuted as a member of T-ara but left the group in 2013.
She remarried in 2019 after divorcing her first husband, with whom she has two sons.
Last year, Ahreum announced the birth of her third child, followed by news of her fourth pregnancy.
