Over the years, K-pop idols who have displayed their songwriting and composition skills have been added to theKorea Music Copyright Association(KOMCA) as full-fledged members.This year, four K-pop idols includingBTS’sJungkookandSeventeen’sVernonhave been promoted to full members of the KOMCA.Earlier this year, the KOMCA announced through its official website that a total of 30 individuals including BTS’s Jungkook, Seventeen’s Vernon,(G)I-DLE’sSoyeon, formerHISTORYmemberJang Yi Jeong(EL CAPITXN) have been included as full members for 2024.The list of K-pop idols who have joined the KOMCA has gained renewed attention in a popular online community.
