On November 1 KST, an individual suspected of being aHYBE Labelsemployee exposed several new pages of the ‘HYBE Weekly Music Industry Trend Report’.
Along with photos of their business card, the individual verified over 1,000 pages of the ‘Weekly Music Industry Trend Report’, which was sent to HYBE Labels employees on July 13, 2023.
According to the email shared by the employee, the report was sent to HYBE executives includingBang Si Hyuk,Kang Myeong Seok,Lee Chang Woo, and more.
The individual (hereby referred to as ‘A’) expressed the following intentions for coming forward with the report, stating,
Unlike pages of the ‘Music Industry Trend Report’ published by news outlets last week, the documents revealed by ‘A’ did not blot out the names of specific artists or offensive terms.
Furthermore, despite the title suggesting that the report contained an analysis of weekly music industry trends, the pages themselves featured mentions of the giant pandaFubao, variety PDNa Young Suk, and more.
