Park and Kim Wan Sun revealed that the two cleared up some misunderstandings after 27 years.
Kim Wan Sun admitted that she had hesitations about collaborating due to lingering traumas of the discord.
However, she overcame her worries and decided to participate in this project.
She explained, “Around 1997, I fell in love with J.Y.
Park’s song ‘She Was Pretty’ so I wanted to receive a song from him.
“She added, “I became traumatized by it so I couldn’t ask anyone else for songs.
Kim Wan Sun revealed that she confronted J.Y.
Park during the music video filming about rejecting her request.
That’s when J.Y.
Park replied, “Should I give you a song now?
“and revealed that’s how they created the song “Lucky.”
Park also revealed that he had contactedSM Entertainmentto bring Seulgi on board for this collaboration.
He praised Seulgi and shared his admiration for her unexpected vocal talent.
