Last year, the Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival attracted around 60,000 fans.
Kim Soo Hyun was specifically scheduled to headline a 40-minute performance on the festivals final day.
As a result, several brands he represented as a commercial model have been terminating their contracts.
