On this day, Lee Changsub recalled the struggles he endured while preparing for his solo comeback.
“Earlier this year, I had to halt activities temporarily because of an illness in my throat.
Previously, Lee Changsub lost his voice for several months after a cyst was discovered in his throat.
The singer reflected,“I experienced true despair and depression during that time.
But when something that was working fine stops working, the process of gaining it back again was difficult.
He continued, “I told people for the first time that I felt depressed.
I was under so much stress.
It got me thinking that I was at fault, for leading an unhealthy lifestyle.
So I quit alcohol.
I realized that I was not caring for myself professionally, and so I realigned my priorities.”
