On the evening of December 29, Lim Young Woong held his concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
“I greet you all today with a heavy heart,“he said.
“Hearing the news of precious lives lost in the plane crash, I feel deep sorrow.
I want to sincerely express my condolences to the victims and their families.
Lim added,“Todays concert is a cherished promise with all of you.
I will do my best to sing and fulfill my promise to bring you joy and happiness.”
His words were met with a round of applause from the audience.
Tens of thousands of fans joined in the solemn tribute.
On the same day, Sung Si Kyung also honored the victims during his concert.
Sharing his sorrow over the tragedy, he invited his fans to reflect on the loss together.
As news of the tragic accident spread, the broadcasting and entertainment industries responded with an outpouring of condolences.
