The parents ofNewJeansmembersMinji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin,andHyeinhave opened a social media account to directly communicate their stance amid the ongoing conflict withHYBEandADOR.In a statement posted on the Instagram account (@jeanz_pr), their parents explained that they had struggled to find an official channel to relay their position.
Despite making numerous attempts to clarify facts through media interviews and journalist contacts, they faced challenges ensuring their statements were reported accurately.
They claimed that while only a few outlets published their words without distortion, others misrepresented their stance, and press releases were often altered with misleading headlines.
They explained, “This account has been temporarily created out of necessity to represent our stance in the dispute with HYBE.
As there has been no official channel to convey our position, we have made numerous attempts to communicate the facts through direct interviews with various media outlets or by reaching out to journalists we have come to know.
“The NewJeans' parents continued,“While some media outlets have faithfully reported our statements, they were very few.
We also attempted to distribute statements through an agency, but headlines were often misleading, and we faced significant challenges in ensuring our position was accurately conveyed without distortion.”
