IU kicked off the conversation by asking, “Does anyone remember when we first met?
She said, “I think it was right after we debuted with ‘Like OOH-AHH.’
We attended our first year-end music festival near COEX.
I remember seeing IU sunbaenim washing her hands in the restroom.
She was wearing a purple velvet outfit with black pants and had straight hair.”
Her incredibly detailed memory left IU and all the TWICE members in awe.
It felt so natural that I thought she was handing them out to everyone.”
The memory had everyone laughing.
Nayeon added, “I worked up the courage to give it to you.
Thinking back now, my heart might explode from embarrassment.”
Nayeon explained blushing, “Looking back, I was pretty brave back then.”
IU revealed, “I was so grateful that I carried it around for months.
It meant so much to me.
Also, every time I won an award, TWICE would clap so much for me.
There was even a time when I got lost, and they helped me find my way.”
IU also expressed her gratitude to TWICE for appearing as guests at one of her past concerts.
She added, “I regret not bringing it with me to get it signed.”
